How to Play Pixelus

• Slide tiles into place.
• Click an empty spot to slide a tile into it.
• Click on a tile to slide it off the board.

Sliding Tiles

• One tile slides against the other.
• Click on the bright spots to slide in the tiles. You can only place a tile if there’s one behind the empty spot to stop it.
• Sometimes you need to slide tiles in the correct order!

Temporary Tiles

Place temporary tiles to act as a stop.
When there’s no way to reach a bright spot directly you can place a temporary tile to act as a stopper.

Techniques

• Often you will need to combine techniques. Use temporary tiles and think about the order.
• You may need to walk tiles into position. Stack tiles on top of each other to reach a target.
• Some puzzles look symmetrical – but the tile order is important!
• You will often need to keep paths free for as long as possible – placing the easy tiles first can often block the only possible solution.
• Working a layer at a time can be useful.
• Keep an eye on the workbench at the bottom of the screen. It shows how many tiles you have left.
