How to Play Bookworm™
Click on the letters to link them into words. Letters must be adjacent.
Click on Submit to chomp words.
Beware of burning tiles. If they reach the bottom, game over!
Click on Bookworm to scramble the letters...but at a cost!
Bookworm™ Tips
Bonus Words
Bonus Words appear at the beginning of the second level beneath the Bookworm. If you can complete a Bonus Word, you'll receive a hefty addition to your score! After this, a new and more difficult Bonus Word will appear. Completing successive Bonus Words will score bigger and bigger bonuses!
Reward Tiles
Green Tiles appear randomly and increase word scores. Earn Gold Tiles by creating words containing 5 letters or more. Gold Tiles are worth more than Green Tiles. Combine 2 or more Reward Tiles in a word for higher word scores. Look out for Diamond and Sapphire Tiles!
Scoring
You score points based on:
- the length of each word
- the scarcity of the letters in each word
- whether or not there are any Reward Tiles in the word
- what level of the game you're on
