Hello Puzzlers,
I thought that I would start a simple forum game to see if people would get involved.
This one is called the "More or Less Word Game", it is a word game where you add or take a letter from the previous word and use the remaining letters to make a new word.
For Example:
raise
satire
hairnet
retain
terrain
errant
etc, etc
If the game gets to the point where no words can be made (highly unlikely) the person who posted the last word will get to choose a new word to start with.
In the event that 2 people have posted a response at the same time, the first post/word is the one to go off.
NOTE: You cannot post a new word from a word you have posted, this means that you cannot make two posts in a row.
Good luck and the starting word is
apple

Rule Additions:
* If there has been no response to a given word within one hour the game can be restarted and once this has happened the old game cannot be revisited.
* Proper Nouns (i.e. names, etc) cannot be used.

Hello guys, looks like you are all having fun with this game, just to confirm the rules, you need to take one letter away or add one, not both. That for example the above posts "peel" and "feel", feel is not a valid answer in this case, whereas "sleep" would be.
Also JOHHNYGEE poster "lapel" and the next answer put down was "jape" which cannot be made from adding/removing one letter from the original word.
But all in all everyone has the general idea and I think it will become a fun game for everyone to play.
