Hi
I was on this morning and was again subjected to an attack by peterkapelis(?) on desertplant(?) for cheating in sudoku combat. This is about the third time that I have witnessed these two going at it. Is this appropriate chat? If not, could someone please do something about it?
Thanks for reading/listening :-) kipper

Yeah, it's starting to get a bit boring the constant complaints and attacks over sudoku combat. I thought this was a fun game site.

You're right daisybee - I was also unaware that sudoku combat had become a matter of life and death :-)

Hey kipper,
It certainly is a contentious issue. I have been involved in this dispute for some time, and monitoring its progress... with regards to chat though, I believe both members are just trying to clear the air between one another.
I can appreciate that there conversation does fill the chat window rather swiftly, and this is why all members have the ability to 'ignore' users in the chat (just click on the name, and push send).
McTroy =)

To kipper, daisybee, jasme
and all other members who had been witnesses to this unpleasant chating yesterday. I love sc and spend many hours every day playing this game espesially in YouPlay-the best site so far for battles on line. First of all I didn't mentioned the username you wrote above, he exposed himself. Now please tell me what would you do when in the game you play most here you discover that someone(with more loses than wins) is not using orthodox methods and you lose by him in seconds. Would you abandon the game every time you play against him? Well I'm not a coward. And what would you do when you see that the same person wins tournaments here using these methods? I tried yesterday through direct conversation in chatroom to eliminate every last hesitation I had about this person but unfortunatelly you were there. All the resourses he mentioned didn't exist or didn't describe any special method, only the already known. I really wish yesterday that this person was a brilliant puzzler or that he learned an unknown-to most people-strategy and that I could be awared of it, and that now I would be in the unpleasant position to apologise to him and all YouPlay members. But the treasure turned to be anthrax. The man is fooling us all. I believe YouPlay Staff (and espesially McTroy who seems to be in charge for this issue) realises what's going on but since there are no witnesses or any confession, they are not 100% sure and try to keep equal distance from both members (me and "them"). So the defendant is not guilty due to doubts. McTroy's suggestion is the best though. When and if this happens again just click on our names and push send. Kipper, sudoku is not a matter of life and death of course it's just a game but it seems that when someone treats you as you are a fool you just close your mouth. Well I don't.
Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter
I hope I didn't offend with my life and death remark about sc - I understand the attraction having played the game myself. My frustration was that I had witnessed this interchange previously and didn't understand how to block you without closing chat entirely. Unfortunately I don't think you are going to get what you want from this other player. And as you pointed out the staff members hands are tied. I will take the suggestion to block any further exchanges. Thank you.
All the best with future sc tournaments. Kipper
