Hey there,
I think this will work ?!?

all you need is a carton of whipping cream and a blender and beat it all together. add a pinch or two of salt before beating if you like it and wait until it clumps together (will take about 5-8 minutes). Then use a muslin cloth to strain the liquid off. The liquid is what is sold as butter milk and if you have a recepie that asks for that you are way in front. it will keep for a few days in the fridge and even longer if you freeze it.

No Problems, hope it works as well for you as it did for me!
You can also use a calico type cloth but they are VERY hard to clean :)-
i have used similar to the old style money bags - or sports ice bags if you prefer and it worked a treat.

Hello cani,

Thanks for the recipe, cant wait to try it out. Home made butter for the fresh bread, and then using the buttermilk for scones, pancakes and muffins, excellent.

Kindest Regards

Stella

Today's handy hint - chop the leg off a clean laddered pair of pantyhose. Stick the foot in the funnel and the cut section over the edge of the funnel.
Use as per muslin to strain and throw away afterwards. OK for anything cold and only the funnel to wash.

Also if you don't like the idea of using the foot section tie a knot further up the leg and chop off above the knot with sufficient to overlap well on the funnel. Everything helps towards recycling and there is a limit to how many tomato plants you can tie up with old pantyhose.

muslin wraps for babies are really popular at the moment, so try looking in baby stores/departments for some muslin
