TWIVIA TEASE Competition Now Open!

"Spring is sprung, the grass is ris.
I wonders where the birdies is.
They say the birds is on the wing.
Ain't that absurd?
I always thought the wing was on the bird."

Ah, glorious spring has blossomed again to chase away those ol' winter blues and I for one couldn't be happier. And me being well, me - there's nothing I like more than indulging in a few seasonal cliches to celebrate the changing cycles of nature.

Spring for instance means a good deal of time spent running in slow-motion across a verdant field towards the outstretched arms of a manful lover, hair flying and eyes rolling in the epic style of the very best perfume commercials.

It means tenderly clutching newborn chicks to my chest as they chirp with the innocence of youth and optimistically try to flap their feeble, threadbare wings - not to mention 'frolicking' with herds of wide-eyed lambs before grilling their tender, juicy legs. [Dr. Play: Er.....]

And of course the time has come for my annual "spring clean", although I can never understand the selfish tears of the neighbourhood children when they fall painfully off their pogo sticks and trampolines. Can't they see all the freshly polished springs I've got drying by the fence? Clean as a whistle. Young people these days...

I love sudoku combat, but it really annoys me (as a beginner) when obvious "expert" players play easy mode. When you are still working out the first few numbers, they've filled the grid and won! Where's the challenge for them. Do they get glory for beating us "newbies"?

I agree with you Gnometree but I don't blame the good players they are there to enjoy themselves like the rest of us, but having said that it is annoying when you aren't able to finish a game. I think we should be able to still finish the game to give us game practise and to improve our skill levels. At least this would be fair to both the experienced and the new player. The good players like to beat their own times in easy.
